Welcome to another Bachata Fusion Newsletter. I am very excited about 2009. I am looking forward to spreading Bachata to even more countries. As I look back in 2008, I have to say that I am very pleased to see Bachata growing all over the World. I had the pleasure to teach Bachata in Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Korea, United States, Canada plus all over Europe. Bachata is only getting stronger as the music starts to evolve and DJ across the world start playing it more often at clubs. Another important key event that just happened was Reno's 1st International Bachata Convention. I am proud to be co- organizer of this mile stone event. For the first time in the United States, a full Event was dedicated to Bachata with over 15 instructors from around the United States, Europe and Australia. The event was a big success and we look forward to putting together a bigger event in July. The first ever San Francisco Bachata Congress in the United States in July 2009. Expect over 20 instructors from around the globe, over 50 workshops Bachata, Salsa, Cha Cha, Tango, Lap Dancing, and Fitness, 3 nights of dancing and live music all in the heart of downtown San Francisco.
